Event scheduled Saturday at Regent
An energy-enhancing workshop will be offered to the public 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the spa at the Regent Las Vegas, 221 N. Rampart Blvd.
"Reclaiming your Vitality" will be facilitated by Crystal O'Shea, a yoga and pilates instructor, and Sandy Wolff, a personal trainer with 15 years experience in the fitness industry.

Learn about lizards and other animals
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers hikes and walks free of charge, but reservations are required for all programs, which begin at the Visitor's Center.

Life of a Lizard: Ages 12 and up can search along the trail for decedents of the Earth's oldest creatures on this two-mile Moenkopi adventure Thursday.
Canyon Country: Adults can talk about what types of plants are indigenous to the are on this two-mile hike into Icebox Canyon on Friday.
A seminar entitled "Parenting
Rule No. 1: Mom has Fun -- A Guide to Responsive Parenting" will be held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday at the Riviera hotel. Tickets are $35 ($40 at the door) and available in advance at (800) 760-9425.
