Camp could give boy a welcome respite

A 10-year-old boy's stepmother says he has been through an awful lot. His mother died four years ago. His father is disabled, and the boy had been the man of the house, taking care of his mother.
"He really needs the fun this summer," his stepmother says. "He's never been to camp and would dearly love this experience."
Sometimes simple things, such as toasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire and spending time around camp counselors who are positive role models are the memories that a child will carry with her through the rest of her life.
By joining contributors to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund you are making a difference in a child's life.
