Arlene Ray Albert
Arlene Ray Albert, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 10, 1922, in Avon, Ill. He was a teacher.
He is survived by one daughter, Jane Fast of Jean.
Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Andrew Paul Apollo
Andrew Paul Apollo, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 20, 1926, in Milwaukee. A resident for 24 years, he was retired and was a World War II Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one daughter, Sharon Nelson, and two sons, Jay Gloeb and Jeff Gloeb, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Ann Savage of Youngtown, Ariz., and Francis Blalock of Prescott, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. graveside services in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Harlan R. Brockman
Harlan R. Brockman, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born April 6, 1928, in Steger, Ill. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired customer service agent for a commercial airlines, Korean War Army and Navy veteran, former member of the Masons and a member of the Disabled Veterans of America and United Airlines Retirees Group.
He is survived by seven nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and great nephews and three great-great nieces and great great-nephews.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Disabled Veteran's of America in his memory.
Jewel A. Harris
Jewel A. Harris, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 19, 1913, in Denison, Texas. A resident for 40 years, she was a hotel audit clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Walter.
Visitation is private. Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Memory Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Rosetta M. Liller
Rosetta M. Liller, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 3, 1942, in New Jersey. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, David; one son, Glenn Reinhard of Las Vegas; three daughters, Nichole Liller of Youngstown, Ohio, and Robin Pratt and Brandi Henry, both of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be private.
Dorothee Novotny
Dorothee Novotny, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1921, in Redondo Beach, Calif. A resident for 63 years, she was a retired real estate broker and a member of Catholic Daughters of America and the St. Anne Church Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent; one daughter, Sandra MacKenna, and one son, Carl Novotny, both of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway, followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
Daniel John Patrias
Daniel John Patrias, 38, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 13, 1962, in San Diego. A resident for 32 years, he was an operating engineer and a member of Operating Engineers Local 12.
He is survied by his wife, Kelly; one son, Daniel John "DJ" Patrias, and two daughters, Amy Marie Patrias and Kimberly Ann Patrias, all of North Las Vegas; his father, Alvin J. Patrias, and one brother, Mark A Patrias, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Julie Burrus of North Las Vegas and Patricia Christensen of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Sophia Peters, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Ipiros, Greece. A resident for 11 years, she was a sales associate.
She is survived by one son, Jim Panagakos of Laguna Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Ginger Panagakos of Las Vegas; one brother, John Peters of Florida; and four sisters, Helen Maynard of California and Margie Cirielli, Rita Peters and Marie Peters, all of Florida.

Velda Rae Runyen
Velda Rae Runyen of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1956, in California. A resident for 39 years, she was a customer service manager at Walmart and a member of Women in Construction.
She is survived by her husband, David; two sons, Robin Ewing and Terry Ewing; four daughters, Elizabeth Bluhn, Kathleen Brown, Karen Ewing and Rachel Ewing; two brothers, Clifford Smith and Burl Smith; one sister, Betty Mabrey; and one grandchild.
A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Dora B. Scruggs
Dora B. Scruggs, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 20, 1923, in Jackson, Miss. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, Downtown. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Jerry Lee Stamper-Ousley
Jerry Lee Stamper-Ousley, 24, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 24, 1977, in Battle Creek, Mich. A resident for 10 years, he was a sales clerk at a convenience store.
He is survived by his mother, Jane Simonds of Houston; his father, Jerry Ousley of Litchfield, Mich.; one brother, Kevin Ousley of Quincy, Mich.; and one sister, Kimberly Osmon of Houston.

Elizabeth Taite
Elizabeth Taite, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 3, 1933, in Illinois. A resident for many years, he was a care giver.
He is survived by one niece, Willie Allen of New Mexico.

Caylin Charmaine Taylor-Trotter
Caylin Charmaine Taylor-Trotter died the day of her birth, June 7.
She is survived by her father, Jermaine Trotter; her mother, Lakisha Taylor; one brother, Jermaine; and one sister, Tashiana.
Private services were held. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Ruth Elizabeth Timpson
Ruth Elizabeth Timpson of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 6, 1904, in St. George, Utah. A resident for 10 years, she was a registered nurse.
She is survived by one son, Thom Timpson; two daughters, Gayle Young and Ladene Lucido; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel at Eighth Street and Franklin Avenue. Burial will be in St. George. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Doris M. Unger, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born June 30, 1925, in Shabbona, Ill. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; one son, James Unger of Las Vegas; one daughter, Karen Brennan of Glendora, Calif.; one sister, Helen Bell of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; one brother, Ralph Warner of Mesa, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.

George A. Visvardis, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 25, 1932, in Chicago. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired owner and operator in the construction industry and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; two daughters, Cheryl Pilz of Beloit, Wis., and Renee Cordero of Las Vegas; three sons, George Visvardis Jr., of Florida, Anthony Visvardis of Chicago and Richard Miller of Ill.; and 18 grandchildren.

Tim Vyvyan
Tim Vyvyan, 43, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local clinic. He was born March 12, 1958, in Racine, Wis. A resident for 24 years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his parents, Harlow and Joan Vyvyan, one brother, Thomas Vyvyan, and one sister, Tammy Goeken, all of Las Vegas.
Services will be 9 a.m. Monday in Charleston Heights Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

James Woods
James Woods, 54, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1947, in Utah. A longtime resident, he was a PBX operator in the gaming industry.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Wood of Utah; and one sister, Pamala Christianson of Idaho.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
