Chloe Amanda Campoy

Chloe Amanda Campoy, 1 month, 4 days old, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 25, 2001, in Henderson.

She is survived by her parents, Meredith and Christian, both of Henderson; her grandparents, Claire Compton of Texas and Esteban Carrasco of Mexico; her great-grandparents, Beryl Lamm of Texas and Gloria Armeta and Falvio Campoy, both of Mexico; and her great great-grandmother, Leocadida Araujo of Mexico.

Visitation was scheduled until 2:30 p.m. today, followed by services at 3 p.m. in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Marra Caneda

Marra Caneda, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 10, 1944, in Sydney, Nova Scotia. A resident for 12 years, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Jordana Zieler of Las Vegas; one son, Joshua Zieler of Sacramento; her mother, Anne Gutterman of Menlo Park, Calif.; two brothers, Jimmy Feinstein of Pacifica, Calif., and Leon Feinstein of Los Altos, Calif.; one sister, Leslie Miles of Oregon; and one grandchild.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.

Carmen Carmona

Carmen Carmona, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 16, 1912, in Artemisa, Cuba. A resident for 29 years, she was retired from a candy manufacturing company.

She is survived by two daughters, Nilda Gasset and Nancy Norte, and one son, Alfonso Ledo, all of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Dustan Centeno

Dustan Centeno, 26, of Henderson died Friday. He was born Sept. 21, 1974, in Stockton, Calif. A resident for 22 years, he was a driver for a supply company.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Centeno, one son, Ethan Odell, and his parents, Antoinette and Allan Murphy, all of Henderson; four brothers, Casey Centeno and Kevin Murphy, both of Henderson, and Ricky Fernandez and Michael Fernandez, both of Stockton, Calif.; and six sisters, Renee Fernandez and Valerie Fernandez, both of Stockton, Moncia Centeno of San Dimas, Calif., Laura Cunning of Cashmere, Wash., Aggie Murphy of Waterville, Wash., and Angie Murphy of Florida.

A memorial service will be 7:30 p.m. today in Harvest Church of Southern Nevada, 3155 E. Patrick Lane. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Curtis Alan Corbin

Curtis Alan Corbin, 40, of Las Vegas died June 7 in Las Vegas. He was born April 21, 1961, in California. A resident for 15 years, he was an electrician for the Traffic and Engineering Department of Las Vegas and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Curtis Ansen Corbin; one daughter, Nicole Corbin; his parents, Carl and Georgia; one brother, Christopher Corbin; and two sisters, Catherine DePrima and Cheryl Graham.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Olga de Masi

Olga de Masi, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 25, 1922, in Naples, Italy. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired artist.

She is survived by her husband, Onofrio; one daughter, Ady Nuschese, and three sons, Mariano de Masi, Raffaele de Masi and Oscar de Masi, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Lina Mitchell of Port Angeles, Wash., Guglielmina Carlino of Johnston, R.I., and Clara Garzillo of Naples; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Thomas Delaney

Thomas Delaney, 72, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born June 5, 1929, in Chicago. A resident for six years, he was a retired plumber, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the American Legion in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne M.; one son, Paul T. Delaney of Baileys Harbor, Wis.; two brothers, William Delaney of Atlanta and Robert Delaney of Northlake, Ill.; and two sisters, Patricia Delaney of Chicago and Mary McBrady of Wisconsin.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Lewis Delew III

Lewis Delew III, 60, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 2, 1940, in Los Angeles. A resident for four months, he was a foreman.

He is survived by two sons, Lewis Delew IV and Michael G. Delew, both of Henderson; his mother, Helene Delew, and one brother, Donald Delew, both of Long Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Marian J. Denny

Marian J. Denny, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 21, 1915, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for one year, he was a retired education.

He is survived by two sons, Paul E. Denny of Las Vegas and Ivan L. Denny of Edmund, Okla.; one daughter, Ruth Anderson of Las Vegas; one brother, the Rev. W.T. Miller of West Des Moines; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Fremont Funeral Chapel in Iowa. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.

James E. Farmer

James E. Farmer, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1925, in Alliance, Neb. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired FBI agent and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Helen B.; four daughters, Frances E. Farmer of Austin, Texas, Roberta L. Farmer of Las Vegas, Loretta A. Farmer of Ocala, Fla., and Elizabeth E. Anderson of Pleasanton, Calif.; one sister, Patricia Showalter of Staunton, Va.; one brother, Lee Farmer of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren.

Insaf Khalil

Insaf Khalil, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1925, in Khartoum, Sudan. A resident for 17 years, she was a retired textile technician.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Khalil and Adel Khalil, both of Henderson; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Earl 'Nick' Lakey

Earl 'Nick' Lakey, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Ontario, Ore. A resident for 31 years, he was a truck and trolley driver for 40 years and a Korean War Army veteran.

An open house will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at 301 Orland St., No. 31. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Harvey Lockett

Harvey Lockett, 87, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 29, 1914, in Richland, La. A resident for nine years, he was a retired railroad laborer.

He is survived by two nieces, Sally Green of Las Vegas and Vera Dorsey of Carson, Calif.; and three nephews, Lonie Chaney, James Chaney and Willie Blanch, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, Downtown. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park.

Bobby Richard Lowe

Bobby Richard Lowe, 65, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Cramerton, N.C. A resident for eight years, he was a technician for Cole Industries, Vietnam War Army veteran and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Services were private. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.

Norberto Lujan

Norberto Lujan, 74, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired hotel porter.

He is survived by seven daughters, Adela Gutierrez, Estela Hernandez, Gloria Ayala, Yolanda Aquirre, Norma Amozquita, Isabel Enriquez and Rosalia Verduzco, and three sons, Anastacio Lujan, Alfredo Lujan and Gustavo Lujan, all of Las Vegas; and 21 grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 5:30 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Leonard Q. Shamberger

Leonard Q. Shamberger, 47, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Boston. He was born May 18, 1954, in Beverly, Maine. A resident for 11 years, he owned and operated L.S. Construction Company from 1981 to 1989, was currently working as a bartender at Polo Towers and was a member of the Cape Ann Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by one son, Johnathan Shamberger.

He is survived by his former wife, Diana (Ahearn) Shamberger, three daughters, Jillian A. Shamberger, Kimberlie M. Shamberger and Alyssa A. Shamberger, and his mother, Norma (Burbridge) Shamberger, all of Gloucester, Maine.

A private graveside service will be held in Beechbrook Cemetery. James C. Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. in Gloucester, handled arrangements.

Jack Stafford

Jack Stafford, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 15, 1934, in Leon, W.Va. A resident eight years, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Song; three daughters, Jazzmen Stafford of Las Vegas, Michelle Stafford and Molia Stafford; four sons, Kevin Stafford and Scott Stafford, both of Nashville, Tenn., Benny Stafford of Florida and Joseph Stafford of Ohio; two sisters, Katie Stafford and Linda Will, both of Ohio; and one grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd.

Kenneth R. Stockwell

Kenneth R. Stockwell, 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 4, 1950, in California. A resident for five years, he was a chef.

He is survived by his parents, Ralph G. and Louise H. Stockwell, and one sister, Janice L. Stockwell-Bumford, all of Las Vegas.

Kenneth William Swallow

Kenneth William Swallow died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 15, 1910, in Kansas. He was an assistant postmaster at the Boulder City Post Office, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by one son, Craig Heming Swallow.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Boulder City Community Grace Church. Burial will follow 11:30 a.m. in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Larry R. Valadez

Larry R. Valadez, 49, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 17, 1952, in Whittier, Calif. A resident for 11 years, he was an engineer for a landscaping company and an Army veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Caitlin Valadez, Ciarra Valadez and Casi Valadez, and his mother, Barbara Valadez, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Deborah Horton of Ivyland, Pa.

Services were noon Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial followed in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

John A. Weisberg

John A. Weisberg died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born May 31, 1937, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, he was a casino cashier.

He is survived by his mother, Ethel.

Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Anthony Ray Wilcox

Anthony Ray Wilcox, 42, of Las Vegas died Friday in Henderson. He was born May 3, 1959, in Wabash, Ind. A resident for 17 years, he was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one son, Michael Wilcox of Las Vegas; one daughter, Amy Wilcox of Michigan; his parents, Jacqueline and Louis Easthom, both of Henderson, and Bob Kulb of Wabash; two brothers, David Wilcox of Wabash and Tom Wilcox of Henderson; one sister, Sydney Easthom of Henderson; and his grandparents, Anna Noonan of Henderson and Ruth and Wilbur Kulb of Wabash.

Private services were held. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.

John H. Winn

John H. Winn, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 30, 1925, in San Diego. A resident for 24 years, he was a former deputy sheriff for the Los Angeles County for 23 years, he worked as a security guard for the Showboat hotel for five years and was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Muriel; two daughters, Linda Crago of Sutherlin, Ore., and Julie Freeman of Murrieta, Calif.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services are private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.
