Data center opens in Las Vegas

Henderson-based Silver State Bancorp said it has opened its first data center in the Las Vegas Valley at 2301 Renaissance Drive.
The new data center will be used as a processing and customer service call center. Those services for the five-year-old bank were previously conducted in California by another bank.
Bank customers who call Silver State's customer service line now will be able to access information about their accounts quicker because of the facility's local presence, said Tod Little, Silver State's chief executive.
