Cousins want chance to camp

The mother of an 8-year-old boy says her son has never been to camp but has always wanted to go.
"He is a good boy and he deserves so much more than I can give him," she says.
The boy, whose father is deceased, hopes to go to camp with his 7-year-old cousin, who is like a brother to him. Both are seeking the Sun Camp Fund's help with expenses, since neither family can afford the fees.
Sometimes simple things, such as toasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire and spending time around camp counselors who are positive role models are the memories that a child will carry with her through the rest of her life.
By joining contributors to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund you are making a difference in a child's life.
