Setting off fireworks on U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management or National Park Service lands is prohibited.
"Fireworks cause many structural and wildfires each year," said Dale Antonich, Lake Mead National Recreation Area chief ranger. "Once again we will be diligent in enforcing the nationwide prohibition against fireworks in the park."
Dry conditions are adding to the concerns of fireworks being set off on federal lands, Antonich said.
