Girl would benefit from second camp experience
Monday, July 2, 2001 | 11:29 a.m.
An 8-year-old girl attended camp last year and had a great time, according to her mother.
"She enjoyed the closeness of the other girls and learned a great deal from the experience," her mother says.
She hopes the girl can go to camp again this year with the help of the Sun Camp Fund.
Sometimes simple things, such as toasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire and spending time around camp counselors who are positive role models are the memories that a child will carry with her through the rest of her life.
By joining contributors to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund you are making a difference in a child's life.
