Letter: Bush quick to attack rights
Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001 | 9:45 a.m.
As we enter the new millennium we don't need to go backward to hope to make changes. We need to protect women and their rights as human beings. It's time to stop suppressing women and move forward.
We will never move forward as long as George W. Bush is president. He lied when stating that he wouldn't do anything, and here he is messing things up. We need to let him know that this kind of decision will not be tolerated.
And we will not give up our God-given right to make a choice!
