Anniversary: Amlong

Las Vegans Earl and Noretta Amlong celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary recently. They were married Jan. 7, 1961, at the Wee Kirk O' the Heather Church in Glendale, Calif.

Thirteen-year residents, Earl is retired and works for Catholic Charities delivering Meals on Wheels. Noretta is a homemaker and an avid oil painter.

The pair, who have three sons, Jeff and Terry, both of Southern California, and Scott, of Las Vegas, celebrated with family and friends with dinner at Outback steakhouse. They're also planning a Mexican cruise to complete their celebration.
