Letter: Open-wheel war of words
Friday, Jan. 26, 2001 | 9:58 a.m.
Brian Hilderbrand says Las Vegas Motor Speedway could be shut out of a CART (Championship Auto Racing Teams) race. Sad to say Brian, but I don't really think anyone cares.
Sure do miss coming to Las Vegas to see the Indy Racing League, though.
I don't think LVMS is going to be able to develop a profitable open-wheel show to supplement the taxicabs (NASCAR).
We'll see.
Keep up the good motor sports coverage.
