Man charged in slaying
A 24-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the slaying of a man who was found shot to death at the wheel of a car.
Vincent Pinder was booked into the Clark County jail on a murder charge in connection with the Tuesday shooting in the 6500 block of Smoke Ranch Road near Torrey Pines Drive, Metro Police said.
The slain man's identity was not released pending notification of his family.
Police searched Pinder's car and residence and found a weapon they believe was used in the slaying.
Slaying at apartment probed
Metro Police are investigating the slaying of a man found this morning in an apartment complex in the 1800 block of East Bonanza Road near Bruce Street.
The man apparently had been shot to death, Metro Police said.
Police were called to the area shortly after midnight to investigate gunshots, but nothing was found at that time.
Police were trying to determine the man's identity. They have no suspects or motive.
Man found shot to death
A man was shot Wednesday night in an apartment complex near UNLV.
Metro Police officers were called to the 1800 block of East Rochelle Avenue near Maryland Parkway, police said.
The officers started CPR on the wounded man, who had not been identified, but he died later at a hospital, police said.
Several witnesses told police they heard the gunshots. No suspects or motive are known.
