Wodka makes move in Orleans tournament

Dave Wodka of Henderson moved into contention Tuesday in the PBA Orleans Casino Open. Wodka, who was in 69th place after the opening round, moved up 62 places to seventh after 18 games of qualifying.
Jeff Lizzi of Sandusky, Ohio, increased his first-round lead of two pins to 27 pins on Tuesday. Mike Miller of Albuquerque, N.M., and Ryan Shafer of Elmira, N.Y., were second and third, respectively.
Match play began today. The five-man stepladder finals are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday.
