"POV Vegas," the Las Vegas Sun's daily half-hour public affairs program on Las Vegas ONE (Cox cable channels 1 and 39) will be getting a new look this spring.
Host Mark Shaffer is leaving the show at the end of his contract period, April 26, to pursue other opportunities. Shaffer has been the host of "POV Vegas" since it debuted on July 12, 1999.
"We'll miss Mark," Sun Managing Editor Michael J. Kelley said. "He launched 'POV' and turned it into the fine show it is today. We are very committed to a strong 'POV' and will announce our plans for the show's next phase very soon."
