San Francisco loss to benefit LV

The decision by Southwest Airlines to end flights to San Francisco International Airport will benefit Las Vegas.
The Dallas-based company announced Monday that it would cease its 14 daily flights to San Francisco and redistribute operations to Oakland, Sacramento and San Jose, Calif. When operations end in San Francisco March 5, the airline will add a daily flight between Las Vegas and Oakland.
