Raquel Chiles
Raquel Chiles, 63, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 7, 1937, in Sloan. A lifelong resident, she was a Sprint operator for 25 years and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherri Chiles, one son, Billy R. Chiles Jr., one sister, Elizabeth Campos, and two brothers, Rupert C. Flores Jr. and Robert Flores, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park.
F. Lynne Crane
F. Lynne Crane, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 20, 1950, in Detroit. A resident for 22 years, she was a taxicab driver.
She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Crane, one son, Ken Crane, and one brother, Corky Johnson, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Judy Mitchell of McComb, Mich., Joan Starr of Saline, Mich., and Cathy Johnson of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10:30 a.m. services Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Amelia Marie Dale
Amelia Marie Dale, 83, of Redding, Calif., died Jan. 14 in Redding. She was born Oct. 15, 1917, in Myerdale, Md. A former Las Vegas resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker, past president and publicity chairman of Ladies Auxiliary 2128 in Las Vegas and a former writer for Stars and Stripes and Roll Call newspapers.
She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Ralston of Redding and Antonette Clopton of Chipley, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Clarice Skipper of Picayune, Miss.; one stepson, Richard Dale of Anaheim, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Madeline Denicola
Madeline Denicola, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 18, 1924 in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 12 years, she was a furniture slip cover operator.
She is survived by one son, Samuel Denicola, and one daughter, Theresa Lonigan, both of New York; four brothers; and four sisters.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Calverton, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Leonard J. 'Leo' Gariti Sr.
Leonard J. "Leo" Gariti Sr., 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Braddock, Pa. A resident for 22 years, he was a civil service employee and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Gregg A. Gariti and Leonard J. Gariti Jr., and one granddaughter, Cheryl L. Gariti-Kypreos, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated noon Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will be in St. James Catholic Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
The family suggests donations to St. Viator's Catholic youth program, 2461 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Tommy A. 'T.G.' Goodwin
Tommy A. "T.G." Goodwin, 60, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born June 5, 1940, in Denver. A resident for 25 years, he was an auto body repairman.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta J.; three sons, Phil Goodwin and Darryn Rodenberg, both of Henderson, and Richard Rodenberg of Las Vegas; two daughters, Phyllis Goodwin of Henderson and Amber Anderson of Artesia, Calif.; his mother, Ann Lilly of Boulder City; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Sheldon W. Lamb
Sheldon W. Lamb, 85, of Fallon died Wednesday in Fallon. He was born Jan. 5, 1916, in Alamo. A lifelong Nevada resident, he was a cattleman and rancher.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Isabel; one daughter, Lynda Norris of Fallon; two sons, Jeff Lamb of Las Vegas and Sheldon Lamb of West Lake Village, Calif.; four brothers, Larry Lamb and Ralph Lamb, both of Las Vegas, Floyd Lamb of Alamo and Darwin Lamb of Cedar City, Utah; three sisters, Erma McIntosh, Myrtle Howery and Wanda Peccole, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today at the Gardens Funeral Home, 2949 Austin Hiway, Fallon.

Maria DeJesus Lara
Maria DeJesus Lara, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born May 20, 1915, in Bogota, Colombia. A resident for seven months, she was a retired department store owner-operator.
She is survived by two sons, Jose Lara of Las Vegas and Hector Lara of Medellin, Colombia; three daughters, Ana Lara of Charlotte, N.C., Odilia Agudelo of Orlando, Fla., and Elizabeth Lara of Las Vegas; 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Edith Penoyer
Edith Penoyer, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 1, 1920, in Detroit. A resident for 33 years, she was a retired Southern Nevada Community College administrative assistant.
She is survived by one son, Robert Penoyer of Monterey Park, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Ruben C. Ramirez
Ruben C. Ramirez, 30, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1970, in Mexico. A resident for nine years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife, Ana; three sons, Ruben Ramirez Jr., Alejandro Ramirez and Edgar Domingo Ramirez, two daughters, Christian Ramirez and Denise Ramirez, and his father, Domingo Ramirez, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Eudelia Caluillo of Mexico; one brother, Luis Ramirez, and two sisters, Berta Ramirez and Irma Ramirez, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. services Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Mexico.
Bernice Richardson
Bernice Richardson, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 7, 1931, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired hotel hostess.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann Bratt of Oceanside, Calif., and Valerie Richardson of Las Vegas; one son, Michael John Richardson of La Crescenta, Calif.; one brother, Joel Volansky of Devore, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Betty G. Robinson
Betty G. Robinson, 90, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1910, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie E.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be private.
Gloria J. Shaffer
Gloria J. Shaffer, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 5, 1927, in Auburn, Ind. A resident for eight years, she was a retired bus driver and a member of Las Vegas Westside Newcomers Club.
She is survived by four sons, Greg Shaffer and Chad Shaffer, both of Las Vegas, Gary Shaffer of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Mark Shaffer of Edgewood, Md.; two daughters, Teresa McComb of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Cynthia Shaffer of Las Vegas; two sisters, Christine M. Danver of Gainesville, Fla., and Jacqueline Y. Coak of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 6 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Gail Adele Stevenson
Gail Adele Stevenson, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 15, 1941, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a main banker of a casino.
She is survived by three sons, Anthony F. Saffioti Jr. of Torrington, Conn., and Christopher C. Saffioti and Frank W. Saffioti, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Donna R. Saffioti of San Diego; two sisters, Beverly A. Hayle of Holbrook, N.Y., and Carol Perby of Las Vegas; one brother, William C. Stevenson of Evansville, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
