Marine Master Gunnery Sgt. John Barclay will play a role in Saturday's inauguration of President-elect George W. Bush. Barclay is the 33rd drum major of the "President's Own" Marine Band, which will perform for the 51st consecutive time for the presidential inaugural.

He is charged with directing the band in ceremonies including the Inaugural Parade and regularly leads the band in review for the president, other heads of state and international dignitaries.

Barclay lives in Waldorf, Md., with his wife, Dina, and their daughter, Lindsay.
