Sport: Basketball
Currently: Touton, a 5-8 guard, has played in all 16 games for the 6-10 Miners, starting 10 contests and averaging 21 minutes per game. The freshman has 25 points, 33 assists, 22 rebounds and eight steals to her credit, with season highs of nine points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals.
Looking back: The starting point guard for the Gaels, Touton helped Gorman reach the 4A state semifinals as a sophomore and the state championship game as a junior. Last year, the Gaels finished 20-8 and captured the Southwest Division, with Touton earning all-Sunset Region honors. She ended her senior year with averages of 14.7 points, four assists and two steals.
