A widow of a former Harrah's Las Vegas worker sued the hotel-casino and Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., alleging they failed to pay her life insurance benefits when her husband died.
In a Clark County District Court lawsuit, Ingrid Meyer said her late husband, Horst Meyer, paid for life insurance through a payroll deduction while he was employed with Harrah's from October 1995 through Feb. 28, 1997.
She alleged the defendants denied her claims and allegedly said her husband wasn't covered under the life insurance program when he died.
Harrah's declined comment.
