Roger Ted Bedell II

Roger Ted Bedell II, 32, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1968, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he was a bartender.

He is survived by his father, Roger Bedell of Arkansas; and five sisters, Angel Chitren, Lisa Bedell, Laura Bedell and Lynn Bedell, all of Las Vegas, and Ellean Kosovac of California.

Visitation is private. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Susana Chapman

Susana Chapman, 49, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 3, 1952, in Mexico City. A resident for nine years, she was a property manager for the Clark County Housing Authority.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; one daughter, Lynn Valarde of California; and one grandson.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Robert Coscino

Robert Coscino, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Chicago. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired vehicle maintenance worker for the U.S. Postal Service, a Korean War and Vietnam War Army veteran who served for 25 years and a member of the postal union.

He is survived by one son, Frank A. Coscino of Las Vegas; one sister, Virginia Van Patten of New York state; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Glenna P. Golden

Glenna P. Golden, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1922, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; one daughter, Cheryl Flanders of Las Vegas; two sons, Carl Maxwell of Fillmore, Calif., and Gary Maxwell of Irvine, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Barbara Richards of Port Washington, Ohio; one sister, Eleanor McGregor of Toledo; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Charles B. Grayling Jr.

Charles B. Grayling Jr., 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Laughlin. He was born March 26, 1923, in Illinois. A resident for nine years, he was a film processor in the motion picture industry, a Navy veteran, the first Mr. Muscle Beach and won the Gold Medal in the Senior Olympics.

He is survived by one daughter, Corky Lynn; two stepdaughters, Jayne Ransom and Jacque Fitzgerald; two sisters, June and Jane; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Pearlee Griffin

Pearlee Griffin, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 9, 1928, in Carthage, Miss. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Griffin and Ruby Bynum, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Grady Graham of Flagstaff, Ariz.; two sisters, Macy Rushing of Long Beach, Calif., and Ollie Hernandez of Santa Maria, Calif.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home.

Michael R. Grillo

Michael R. Grillo, 68, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for five years, he was a superintendent in the construction industry.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; two sons, Frank Grillo and Michael Grillo Jr., both of Henderson; one daughter, Susan Hein of Goose Creek, S.C.; two brothers, John Grillo of Queens, N.Y., and James Grillo of Bay Shore, N.Y.; two sisters, Victoria De Pasquale and Josephine Barone, both of Baldwin, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Steve D. Hawkins

Steve D. Hawkins, 26, of North Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 23, 1974, in Las Vegas. He was a pitcher for Silver State Disposal Service and a member of Local 631.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; one son, Steve, his mother, Cora Hawkins, one sister, Joann Barrett, and two brothers, Edward Beets and Albert Conway, all of North Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Greater Bethel Church of God in Christ, 976 Hassell Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Aline Hunter

Aline Hunter, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Illinois. A resident for six years, she was a postal worker.

She is survived by one son, Maurice Hunter of Chicago.

William Arthur Jean Sr.

William Arthur Jean Sr., 81, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1919, in Marengo, Ind. A resident for three years, he was a retired truck driver, a World War II Army veteran, active with Habitat for Humanity and RVers in Mission.

He is survived by two sons, William A. Jean Jr. of Henderson and Richard Jean of Lancaster, Calif.; three sisters, Margaret Davis of Washington state, Mary Crouch of Indiana and Martha Richardson of California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Jack Krinick, 83, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 29, 1917, in New Brunswick, N.J. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired produce manager.

He is survived by his wife, Dora; one son, Stewart Krinick of Henderson; one daughter, Rochelle Surgeon of Torrington, Conn.; one sister, Esther Samuels of Bricktown, N.J.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Naomi Victoria Larks

Naomi Victoria Larks, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born May 24, 1937, in Montreal. A resident for six years, she was a medical assistant.

She is survived by one brother, Sydney Z. Litwack of Encino, Calif.; and one sister, Beatrice-Bosha-Holtz of Thousand Oaks, Calif.

She is survived by her husband, Allan; one daughter, Teresa Hobson, and four sons, Travis McCullar, Timothy McCullar, Troy Lore and Todd Lore, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Molly Paterson of Great Yarmouth and Shirley West of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Thomas William Manion, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 12, 1926, in Stockton, Calif. A resident for three years, he was in the real estate business and was a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Michael Howard Manion of Miami, Timothy Riley Manion of Las Vegas and Ryan James Schmit of Rockwall, Texas; three daughters, Kathleen Mary Manion-Schmit and Kelly Christine Schmit, both of Rockwall, and Meghan Manion of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Mass will be June 26 in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Mary Ann Munizaga

Mary Ann Munizaga, 51, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 11, 1949, in Meridian, Miss. A resident for 25 years, she was a dealer.

She is survived by her husband, Luigi; one daughter, April Rushfield of Las Vegas; and one brother, David Franklin of Meridian.

Silva Nikogosyan, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 25, 1919, in Armenia. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired dentist.

She is survived by three sons, Mikayel Nikogosyan, Vladimir Silva Nikogosyan and Edward Silva Nikogosyan, and one daughter, Louisa Zakarian, all of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Ethel Normand

Ethel Normand, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 15, 1917, New Orleans. A resident for 32 years, she was retired, a homemaker, a member of the Economic Volunteer Board and the Retired Volunteer Program.

She is survived by four daughters, Jean Ethel Sanders, Gloria Varra and DaWanda Williams-Thomas, all of Las Vegas and Shirley Raye Adams of The Colony, Texas; five sons, Rudy Normand, Willie Normand, Alvin Normand, Eric Normand and Kim Normand, all of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Thursday in Mountaintop Faith Ministry, 2137 Haven Hill Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park.

James R. Northrop Jr.

James R. Northrop Jr., 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 23, 1960, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was a hardware salesman.

He is survived by his parents, Shirley and James R. Northrop Sr. of Las Vegas.

Catherine B. Petrie

Catherine B. Petrie, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Leechburg, Pa. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired meal packer in the air transportation industry.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith Cowan of Sturgis, Mich.; one son, James Petrie of Las Vegas; two brothers, Bill Nolte of North Versailles, Pa., and David Nolte of Chino Hills, Calif.; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Willie Swinney, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 10, 1916, in Clark, La. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired supervisor for Silver State Disposal and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Corine; one daughter, Joe Reather McGee of Las Vegas; three brothers, Ceasars Swinney, Arttic Swinney and Lawrence Swinney, and two sisters, Ester Nickles and Verna Morgan, all of Los Angeles.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Rosary and burial will be in California.

Louis N. Wheelock

Louis N. Wheelock, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 18, 1931, in Amherst, Mass. A resident for two years, he worked in electronics.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Teri Lynne Wheelock; one sister, Marge Kennedy; and three grandchildren.
