Performer sues LV bar

A Las Vegas performer sued Pounders Sports Lounge and one of its owners, Linda Pease, alleging he had to find other performance venues because the bar allegedly terminated his contract.
In a Clark County District Court suit, John Earl Williams doing business as John Earl & The Boogey Man Band, who said he was terminated on Feb. 17, 2000, alleged he was contracted to perform from Oct. 30, 1999, through May 27, 2000, and that Pease agreed to pay him $700 a night for 31 performances plus 100 percent of the cover charge collected at the door.
The defendant could not be reached for comment.
