Two King celebrations planned tonight

Two events are being held this evening to mark the 72nd anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King's birth.

Gospel recording artist Helen Baylor will perform 7 tonight at the International Church of Las Vegas, 8100 Westcliff Drive.

A celebration of the life of Martin Luther King Jr. will be held 6 to 8 p.m. at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St.

The free event is being sponsored by the Las Vegas Interfaith Council for Worker Justice.
