Letter: Rate cuts better than advertising
Monday, Jan. 15, 2001 | 9:28 a.m.
If Nevada Power really wanted to be a friend, as it promotes in its media blitz utilizing television and newspaper ads, it could lower our rates. Just think of how much it could have passed on to the electrical consumers in the valley with the money it could have saved by not buying up all that advertising time.
Or, is it just setting us up for more and bigger rate hikes? And remember folks, we aren't even into deregulation yet. But we can always strive to follow the California model. Now that was a great success story!
