Airline to start service to Vegas in April

The Kansas City-based airline said it will start with one nonstop flight a day from its Kansas City hub to McCarran International Airport.
The airline recently announced it was adding six MD-80 aircraft to its current fleet of 13 Boeing 737's.
Vanguard says the additional aircraft will let it serve Las Vegas, San Francisco and other U.S. cities.
Vanguard also serves Buffalo, N.Y.; New York City; Pittsburgh; Chicago; Miami; Dallas; Atlanta; and Austin, Texas.
