Vanguard Airlines, a company based in Kansas City, Mo., is returning to the Las Vegas market after a three-year hiatus.
Vanguard will add a single daily round-trip flight between Kansas City and McCarran International Airport beginning April 1.
A spokesman said Vanguard's schedule would enable it to provide one-stop connecting service for Las Vegans traveling to Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Buffalo, N.Y.; Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport; New York's LaGuardia Airport; Chicago's Midway Airport, Minneapolis and Pittsburgh.
Vanguard discontinued service to Las Vegas after offering flights in 1996 and 1997.
