'Paintings' displayed

An ongoing aerial-art gallery, sponsored by the city of Las Vegas, is on display on banner poles along Las Vegas Boulevard between Fremont Street and Charleston Boulevard.
Chien exhibit

Russian art
"America and Russian Nonconformist Art," designed to mark the 25th anniversary of the "Bulldozer Exhibition" staged in 1974 by Russian nonconformist artists whose art show was bulldozed by Moscow authorities, is on display through Feb. 16 at UNLV's Marjorie Barrick Museum. Call 895-3381.

Juried exhibition

Heart & Soul

Nevada artists

Desert pottery
The Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum presents the Desert Sands Pottery exhibit, through March 11 at the Boulder Dam Hotel, 1305 Arizona St. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $2. Call 294-1988.
