Second John-Joel concert added at MGM

A second Las Vegas concert for the Elton John and Billy Joel tour, has been added.

The first show, scheduled for 8 p.m. Feb. 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, is sold out. Tickets for the second show, scheduled for 8 p.m. Feb. 18, go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, although a wristband distribution will begin at 10 p.m. Friday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office or any TicketMaster location. (According to a press release from the MGM Grand, a wristband does not guarantee a ticket.)

Random numbers will be drawn at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, and from the selections a line will form for ticket distribution.

Tickets are $79, $154 and $304 and can be purchased via phone at TicketMaster (474-4000), at TicketMaster locations or at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office. In addition, tickets may be purchased online at ticketmaster.com.
