NFL Hall of Famer to address Eagle Scouts
Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001 | 10:30 a.m.
National Football League Hall of Fame offensive lineman Tom Mack will present the keynote address at the inaugural Eagle Scout dinner Saturday at Alexis Park Resort.
Mack, a former Los Angeles Ram, is an Eagle Scout and vice president and regional director of Bechtel Infrastructure Corp.
The dinner will showcase scouting and its importance in the lives of those who participate in it, according to Mike Miller, special projects director for the Boulder Dam Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Miller said the dinner is designed to get former Scouts to serve as volunteers in current programs.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a no-host reception and will be followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The cost is $50.
Sheriff Jerry Keller, also an Eagle Scout, will be master of ceremonies.
