Currently: Brown has started all 13 games in his first season with the Thunderwolves, averaging 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds and shooting 60 percent from the floor. The 6-9 center leads the 10-3 team in field goal percentage, rebounds and blocked shots. Before enrolling at Southern Colorado, Brown played at two junior colleges -- Wyoming's Casper College, where he averaged 18.3 points and 11.2 rebounds, and Texas' Blinn College, where he averaged 21.7 points and 13.1 rebounds.
Looking back: A key member of Valley's 1998 4A state championship basketball team, Brown earned two varsity letters with the Vikings. As a senior, he averaged 12.5 points and 7.4 rebounds for 28-5 Valley.
