Patricia A. Barnum
Patricia A. Barnum, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 13 years, she was a management consultant.
She is survived by her husband, Aschel L.; and one sister, Barbara Waltemire of Cocoa, Fla.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Wednesday in the New Forest Ward, 4545 New Forest Drive. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Robert Blake
Robert Blake, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 25 years, he was a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; eight sons, Robert Blake, Donny Blake, Mike Blake, Tim Blake, Kim Davis, Marvin Davis, Tim Davis and John Gonzalez; four daughters, Karen Blake, Laura Potter, Terresa Gonzalez and Barbie Parks; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Vincent Caserto
Vincent Caserto, 75, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 27, 1925, in New York City. A resident for nine months, he was a retired New York City sanitation worker and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Philip Caserto of New York City.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Calverton, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Roger Deaver
Roger Deaver, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1933, in Brainerd, Minn. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired cashier in the gaming industry.
He is survived by three daughters, Deanna Schramm, Keanna Holliday and Joanna Byrne, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Bill Deaver of Texas, Bob Deaver of Guam and Don Deaver of Michigan; one sister, Joanne Seaggie; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Walter M. Gaines
Walter M. Gaines, 77, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1923, in Greenville, S.C. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired Air Force senior master sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Mercedes; three daughters, Terry Pierce of Sevierville, Tenn., Kathleen Gaines of Boulder City and Maria Hunt of Las Vegas; two sons, Michael Gaines and Mark Gaines, both of Boulder City; two sisters, Wilma Looper and Doris Wylie, both of Travelers Rest, S.C.; two brothers, Harold Gaines and Jerry Gaines, both of Greenville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visaitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Josefa A. Gonzalez
Josefa A. Gonzalez, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 19, 1923, in El Salvador. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Nora Meza of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation was scheduled until 4 p.m. services today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
Dana M. Grothjan
Dana M. Grothjan, 59, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 30, 1941, in San Francisco. A resident for 10 years, she was a PBX operator in the gaming industry.
She is survived by two daughters, Lori Aragon of Henderson and Michell Ferguson of Wiggins, Colo.; one son, Joseph Soucie of Greeley, Colo.; her parents, John and Bernice Garton of Sacramento; three brothers, John Garton of Lodi and William Garton and David Garton, both of Sacramento; 12 grandchildren.

Myra Immerman
Myra Immerman, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 19, 1926, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhoda Immerman, and two sons, Harry Immerman and Mark Immerman, and one sister, Jean Kessler, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Richard Jewell
Richard Jewell, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 4, 1935, in New York City. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired sign painter in the advertising industry and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; two sons, Richard Buckmaster of Steven's Point, Wis., and Michael Jewell of Las Vegas; one daughter, Michelle Pehrson of Grand Portage, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

Lee Roy Johnson
Lee Roy Johnson, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 18, 1921, in Eastover, S.C. A resident for 12 years, he was a hotel-casino supervisor for 12 years and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Veda; three sons, Harry Johnson of Southfield, Mich., Dennis Johnson of Las Vegas and Michael Johnson of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Catherine Overton of Rochester, N.Y., and Joy McKissic of Detroit; two stepsons, Anthony Weston and Herman Hickmon, and three stepdaughters, Adrinne Hickmon, Natilie Hickmon and Mervel Pressley, one sister, Jacqueline Verdier, all of Columbia, S.C.; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Holiday Inn, Boardwalk Casino. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Julia Madge Jolley
Julia Madge Jolley, 89, of Las Vegas died Dec. 30 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 1, 1911, in Idaho. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Alfred Jolley; two daughters, Joyce Marie Kynaston and LaDonna Holmes; two sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by seven daughters, Ethel Borders and Elva June Bybee, both of Las Vegas, Florene Aldrich and Patti O'Dell, both of Yuma, Ariz., Marilyn Hoffer of Hermiston, Ore., Julia Madge England of Pocatello, Ind., and Linda Osbourn of Maple Valley, Wash.; two sons, James Floyd Jolley of Rupert, Ind., and William Hoffer of Hermiston; one brother, Don Gardner of Pocatello, Idaho; 44 grandchildren, 105 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Idaho. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Beverly Ann LeRoy
Beverly Ann LeRoy, 62, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1938, in Greyling, Mich. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ken; two daughters, Jodi Golden of Henderson and Deborah Jones of Navarre, Fla.; one sister, Candice Polk, and one brother, Jack Noirot, both of Venice, Fla.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
David A. Mackey-Rangiuaia
David A. Mackey-Rangiuaia, 42, of Gilbert, Ariz., died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 19, 1958, in New Zealand. A former resident of Las Vegas for five years, he was self-employed in international finance.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Iiaunani; his parents, Robert Pahau and June Isabella Mackey-Rangiuaia of New Zealand; and two sisters, Fiona Morris of New Zealand and Ruth Panee of Hawaii.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in the Hillpointe Ward, 9011 Hillpointe Road. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Donald M. Marker
Donald M. Marker, 79, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Ozawkie, Kan. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired vice president-operations for E.H. Hahn Inc., a commercial construction company, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Moose and Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth E.; one daughter, Carol Marker of Henderson; two sisters, Lorraine James of Newport Beach, Calif., and Doris Nelson of Kerrville, Texas; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

John B. Matranga
John B. Matranga, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 10, 1919, in Italy. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired cement mason, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; one son, Vince Matranga of Milwaukee; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Sandra L. McFadden-Alexander
Sandra L. McFadden-Alexander, 53, of Las Vegas died Thursday in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. A resident for two years, she was born May 23, 1947, in Bell, Calif.
She is survived by her parents, James and LaVon Alexander of Las Vegas.

Ramona S. Orozco
Ramona S. Orozco, 79, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 7, 1921, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Jr.; four sons, Jesse Orozco III, Ronald Orozco and Michael Orozco, all of Las Vegas, and Frank Vidal of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Martie Scott of Temecula, Calif., and Theresa Clark of Las Vegas; three brothers, Servin Salomon of Bakersfield, Hector Salomon of El Paso and Mario Salomon of Guadalajara, Mexico; two sisters, Olga Pedroza of El Paso and Gloria Madera of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Bronislaw Pruc, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 11, 1919, in Ukraine. A resident for 11 years, he was a machine repairman, a member of the United Auto Workers and the Ukraine Social Club.

Alice Rogers, 62, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Detroit. A resident for four years, she was a retired bank branch manager, a member of the Home of Love, Senior Friends of Henderson and the Order of the Fishermen Ministry and a volunteer at Hoover Dam.
She is survived by her husband, McClennon Rogers; one daughter, Denise Clark of Indianapolis; one son, Michael T. Rogers of Farmington Hills, Mich.; her mother, Olga Katherine Pearson of Detroit; and two grandchildren.

Jovanka K. Stojanovic
Jovanka K. Stojanovic, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 17, 1930, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Milan; one daughter, Dafina Woods of Las Vegas; one sister, Radmila Zivkovic of Aurora, Colo.; and two grandchildren.

Jerry Wayne Strickland, 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 6, 1962, in North Carolina. A resident for 18 years, he was a bartender and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Paul; his father, Jimmy; his stepmother, Betty Carol; two sons, Adam and Anthony, one daughter, Krista; many brothers and sisters; and one grandchild.

Milton Stromberg, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 26, 1915, in Cleveland. He was a retired owner/operator in the retail industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Leslie Pallas of Las Vegas; one son, Gary Stromberg of Connecticut; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Richard Masaichi Tamanaha Sr., 59, of Las Vegas died Jan. 1. He was born Sept. 23, 1941, in Puunene, Hawaii. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired Army chief warrant officer and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Naomi Ing of Honolulu; two sons, Richard M. Tamanaha Jr. and Jamie Tamanaha, both of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; one brother, Roy Tamanaha of Honolulu; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Linda Sue Thomas, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 12, 1916, in Mayfield, Ky. A resident for two years, she was a piano instructor for fifty years and an active supporter of the arts in Fresno, Calif.
She is survived by one son, William Thomas of Las Vegas; one daughter, Virginia Thomas of New York City; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Fresno. Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5., is handling arrangements.
Rachel Tigue
Rachel Tigue, 94, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 28, 1906, in Quebec. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired machine operator.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bergeron and Ann Bell, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Dottie Bliss of Natick, Mass.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 3 p.m. Tuesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Derry J. Unruh, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 20, 1922, in Parker, S.D. A resident for three years, he was a sales manager for a beverage distributor and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Darrel Unruh, and one daughter, Beverly Gardner, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Elaine Unruh of Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Richard Unruh of South Dakota; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Slack of Costa Mesa, Calif.; three sons, Michael Wiatt of Henderson, Tim Wiatt of Las Vegas and Steve Wiatt of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Klaus Martinus and Werner Martinus, both of Germany; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
