Fugitive rapist won’t fight extradition

Timothy Mobly, 27, was arrested last week in Mexico City after a friend recognized his picture on the FBI's "Most Wanted" list on the Internet.
He was flown to Houston where he is being held at the Harris County Jail. Police said he is expected to arrive back in Reno on Thursday.
Mobly disappeared before he could be sentenced on April 30, 1999. He had pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault after he and his friend, Aaron Cross, then 25, lured two women over the Internet and raped them while keeping them captive in Mobly's home in Sparks.
The case attracted national attention because two Sparks police detectives didn't believe the first victim's story until the second victim said the same men also raped her.
