The Agua Caliente tribe of California, which plans to open its second casino near Palm Springs in April, is holding a job fair in Henderson today and Tuesday.
Casino officials say they need 700 workers in a variety of positions for the Agua Caliente Casino, located in Rancho Mirage. Workers will also be needed for the tribe's Spa Resort and Casino in Palm Springs.
"Getting good quality candidates isn't easy, and though we're confident we'll have a quality staff, this (job fair) will help us get a lot of good employees, especially middle and upper managers, from an area with experienced (casino) employees like Las Vegas," said Spa Resort General Manager Tom Doyle.
The job fair begins today at the Community College of Southern Nevada's Henderson campus, located on College Drive near U.S. 95. The fair will run from noon to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday at the auditorium in Building C.
