Isaac Burton's career-high 34 points off the bench led the Las Vegas Bandits to a 123-104 International Basketball League victory over the New Mexico Slam on Sunday night at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Burton, who had 17 points in the first half, scored 32 of his points from the floor. He was only 2-for-8 from the free throw line but hit 4 of 7 from 3-point range.
"I think it was great win for the team and a good bounceback from our loss on Friday night," Burton said.
The Bandits (7-5) were on fire in the second half from behind the 3-point line, hitting 16 of 24.
Mike Jones finished with 26 points, and Damian Cantrell ended a four-game scoring slump, contributing 17 points and eight rebounds. Eddie Gill flirted with a triple-double with 12 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds. J.R. Henderson scored 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
Keith Carter led New Mexico (4-7) with 24 points.
