Bell to resume radio talk show career
Friday, Jan. 5, 2001 | 10:36 a.m.
Pahrump resident Art Bell, a radio personality famous for his conversations about all things unexplained, has announced his return to radio.
On Feb. 5 Bell is scheduled to take over as host of what was the most listened to live overnight radio program, Coast to Coast AM.
His show will air locally on KXNT 840-AM from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will be broadcast from his home studio in Pahrump.
Bell resigned last April from the show he created in 1993 because of family and legal issues that required his full attention. They have been resolved, he said.
Coast to Coast AM airs on more than 430 stations nationwide over the Premiere Radio Networks, Inc., a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications.
