Barbara Greenpun remembers 1976: Mother taught importance of family relationship

Editor's note: Though today's installment of Classic Sun examines 1976, Sun Publisher Barbara Greenpsun refers to a column by her husband Hank from a year later.
Hank's column from 1977 was a tribute to my mother, who taught me from childhood the importance of a close family relationship. To my mother, her children and husband were her entire world.
I was very much aware of her teachings and her presence the past few weeks when I was on vacation with my children and grandchildren. Because of her love our family has bonded and is as close as any family can be.
That is my mother's legacy and I thank her for it.
