Group to hold meeting Thursday
The Charleston Neighborhood Preservation group will hold a meeting Thursday to discuss actions residents want to see during the 2001 Legislature.
The meeting will be 7 p.m at the West Charleston Library.

Applications due for annual event
Applications are being accepted for the Miss Latina pageant, a national contest that awards thousands of dollars in scholarships and other prizes.
The pageant, held in San Antonio, includes the traditional categories of interview, swimsuit and evening gown.
