Band needs money for inauguration trip

The expenses - airplane tickets, hotel rooms, charter buses and food for 60 pupils and 10 adults - add up quickly and band director Bill Zabelsky says many companies are requiring large deposits.
The goal originally was $75,000, but Zabelsky scored some good deals on air fares. And he booked the group into cheaper accommodations in Annapolis, Md., 40 miles from Washington.
Zabelsky, who band members address as "Z," says it will be a historical moment to play before the parade and to watch the new president and vice president march by, then to see some sights in the nation's capital.
