Phyllis Marie Barnes, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 22, 1944, in Peabody, Mass. A resident for 18 years, she was a casino marketing assistant.

She is survived by one daughter, Melissa D. Barnes of Las Vegas; and one sister, Marie Mischaud of Peabody.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will in Massachusetts.

Anna Cangialosi

Anna Cangialosi, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for 20 years, she was born May 18, 1914, in Italy.

She is survived by two daughters, Maria Schneider and Viola Schwallier, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Richard Anthony Carcelli

Richard Anthony Carcelli, 45, of Youngtown, Ohio died Friday. He was born Nov. 24, 1955 in Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Carcelli of Garden City, S.C. and his first wife, Louise Carcelli of Las Vegas; one son, Zachary Tanner Carcelli of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his father, Robert Dominic Carcelli; his mother, Josephine Delsandro Carcelli; two brothers, Robert D. Carcelli and Ronald A. Carcelli, both of Struthers, Ohio; and one sister, Donna Sanetrick of Canfield, Ohio.

Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Church of Las Vegas, 3388 S. Decatur Blvd. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Kathryn Marie Chraft

Kathryn Marie Chraft, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 12, 1927, in Hanover, Kan. A resident for 16 years, she was a telegrapher for 30 years for Union Pacific Railroad and a member of the Eastern Star and the PEO.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Mary Hawley of Las Vegas; one niece, Kathy Gibson of Palmdale, Calif.; and one nephew, George Chraft of Union City, Calif.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in Hastings, Neb. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Selma Dies, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 20, 1913, in New York City. A resident for 40 years, she was a dancer/producer.

She is survived by one niece, Judy Marshak of Henderson.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Florence Ethel Perry Eggers

Florence Ethel Perry Eggers, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Jackson, Mich. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired hotel cashier/hostess.

She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Palma, Connie Denman and Gloria Cervantes, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Justo Enrique Garcia-Moreno

Justo Enrique Garcia-Moreno, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1951, in Mexico. A resident for six years, he was a waiter.

He is survived by his wife, Maria N.; two daughters, Asanet Garcia of Las Vegas and Claudia Garcia of Azusa, Calif.; one son, Pete Garcia of Denver; his mother, Isabell Garcia of Azusa; two brothers, David Garcia of Las Vegas and Adam Garcia of Azusa; four sisters, Victoria Garcia of Baldwin Park, Calif., Anna Garcia of Azusa, Racel Banaga of Tijuana, Mexico, and Isabell Garcia of Mexico City, Mexico; and one grandchild.

A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

John Michael Giglio

John Michael Giglio, 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 12, 1952, in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, he was disabled.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; one daughter, Angela Giglio of Las Vegas; one son, John Giglio Jr., of Centralia, Ill.; one sister, Joann Barnes of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Vivencio Gonzalez

Vivencio Gonzalez, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1920, in the Philippines. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired neon glass bender for an advertising and signs company.

He is survived by four daughters, Nita Gonzalez of Las Vegas and Virgie Gonzalez, Vivian Gonzalez and Tess Gonzalez, all of the Philippines; four sons, Bernabe Gonzalez of Las Vegas and Willie Gonzalez, Vivencio Gonzalez Jr., and Ricardo Gonzalez, all of the Philippines; one brother, Manoling Gonzalez of Los Angeles; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be in the Philippines.

Glen R. Horton

Glen R. Horton, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 4, 1920, in New Castle, Wyo. A resident for 11 years, he was a pilot/geologist and a veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Leta; and two sisters, Katherine Munday of Portland, Ore., and Lorraine Quick of Denver.

Burial will be in Corpus Christi, Texas. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Henry R. Huerta

Henry R. Huerta, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 24, 1915, in Mexico. A resident for 60 years, he was a retired railroad driver clerk and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Robert M. Huerta of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Aldean 'Carol' Ishmael

Aldean "Carol" Ishmael, 25, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. A resident for 25 years, she was a millwright in the aircraft industry and a member of the SGI-USA.

Antonia Gondolo 'Nina' Iverson

Antonia Gondolo "Nina" Iverson, 80, of North Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 49 years, she was a dressmaker in the dry cleaning industry.

She is survived by her husband, Victor; one son, Manny Iverson of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Bunker Chapel. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Charles Merlin Kellogg Sr.

Charles Merlin Kellogg Sr., 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 25, 1927, in Estancia, N.M. A resident for 53 years, he was a retired Las Vegas Hilton executive where he'd been since it opened in 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbye J.; one daughter, Gayla McNary of Las Vegas; four sons, Greg Kellogg of Anchorage, Alaska, and Gary Kellogg, Darin Kellogg and Chuck Kellogg, all of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

John T. Klinyk, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 12, 1924, in Milwaukee. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired paint sprayer for an electrical engineering company, World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 434 in Oak Creek, Wis.

He is survived by his wife, Lorena; one daughter, Karen Klinyk of Las Vegas; and one sister, Mary Ann Zachow of West Allis, Wis.

A memorial service will be noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa 'Terri'; his mother, Corinne Schulze of Las Vegas; one sister, Carol Gaffney of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one brother, Steven La Valley of Eau Claire, Wis.

Paul L. Lewis, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 1, 1921, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for six years, he was a retired construction accountant, World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Order of the Purple Heart and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey; one son, Paul Lewis Jr., of Taft, Calif.; two daughters, Mary Merlino of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Suzanne Lewis of Canyon Country, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Yvonne Pearson of Las Vegas; one stepson, John Bell of North Hills, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Connie Redinger of Houston and Sharon Lappin of Las Vegas; one son, James Cyr of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Mitchum of Rockdale, Texas, and Erma Gray, Lillian Lide and Lela Daniels, all of Las Vegas; four sons, Joe S. Maxey of California and Ezrah C. Maxey, Marvin Maxey and Melvin Maxey, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Lela Branch of Mount Holly, Ark.; 32 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Barry Mohon, 60, of Las Vegas died Friday in Rancho Mirage, Calif. He was born July 17, 1940, in Beech Creek, Ky. A resident for seven years, he was the vice president of Las Vegas Operations of West Coast Turf and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy; one son, Barry Alan Mohon of Taylorsville, N.C.; one daughter, Karen Mohon-Hartman of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

H. Gene Moore, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 30, 1933, in Rising Fawn, Ga. A resident for three years, he was a retired mechanical technologist for a national laboratory an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Nanette K.; four daughters, Marti M. Browne of Los Alamos, N.M.; Wendy A. Reber of Albuquerque, N.M., Jan S. Jennings of Manchester, Tenn., and Leanne Bostwick of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sons, Christopher K. Moore of Denver and Gary D. Moore of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Lola Kyte of Kingston, Tenn., Mildred Pringle of Rising Fawn and Grace Johnson of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; two brothers, Grover Moore of Kinston and Leighton Moore of Rising Fawn; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Dennis and Frank Jr.; two daughters, Georcette and Linda; one sister, Louise; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Morris "Moe" Rosen, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April, 13, 1944, in Montreal. A resident for five years, he was a project manager in the construction industry.

He is survived by his wife, Helene; one daughter, Michelle Rosen, and one son, David Rosen, both of Toronto.

A memorial service will be 10:30 p.m. Thursday in Temple Beth Sholom, 10700 Havenwood Lane. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

A resident for 36 years, he was a retired auto body instructor for a vocational high school, World War II Navy veteran, worked for the Clark County School District for 20 years and was a member of the Sunrise Club.

He is survived by one daughter, Janice Manganello of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Marie Savino, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born March 28, 1906, in New York state. A resident for 45 years, she was in the retail sales industry.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Bianco; two daughters, Madeline Cica and Angela Marquiz; two sisters, Antonette Capul and Anne Wyman; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Herlinda; one son, David Villalobos of Henderson; one daughter, Betty Arzate of Moreno Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Ernesto Villalobos and Cruz Villalobos, both of Los Angeles; two sisters, Natalie Perea of Las Vegas and Rita Minjers of Los Angeles; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Alvin Joe Young, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 7, 1938, in Magnolia, Ark. A resident for 61 years, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Viola; five daughters, Sedalia Loucious, Leslie Brown, Jeanne Young, Christine Young and Shalonda Young, and one brother, Tony Brown, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
