Las Vegas-based Certified Airline Passenger Services has launched an Internet site at which customers can pre-purchase baggage transport between several local resort properties and McCarran International Airport.
CAPS said the site features a reservation service and customers can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover to pay for the off-airport check-in service. Customers pay $6 to have their bags checked at a counter at a partnering resort and they also get boarding passes on partner airlines.
The Internet site, www.capstravel.com, also provides an on-line customer service program and stores an archive of news stories on CAPS.
CAPS has 12 Las Vegas resort partners and Alamo Rent-A-Car and is available to passengers on eight airlines.
