Recent gaming industry appointments:
Former Reserve hotel-casino Vice President and General Manager Angie Baker and assistant general managers Todd Stewart and Carolyn Dobbs stayed on with Ameristar Casinos Inc. after it sold the Reserve to Station Casinos Inc.
Frank Beaty is Ameristar's director of entertainment and Janet Catron is director of administration.
Jeff Beckelman, formerly vice president of sales and marketing for the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, was named chief executive of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority.
Harrah's Entertainment Inc. named Tim Stanley vice president, information technology development. Jeannie Magdefrau is vice president of operations at Harrah's Laughlin hotel-casino.
Richard Brown is chief operating officer and Bobby Ray Harris is senior vice president of operations for the Carl Icahn gambling properties in Las Vegas including the Stratosphere and two Arizona Charlie's.
James Dickstein is director of casino operations and Rick Martinez is director of slot operations at Palace Station.
Stephen Schutte is vice president-assistant general manager and Bryan Dillon is director of food and beverage at Texas Station.
At the Reserve, Bart Pestrichello is vice president-general manager and Karen Brasier is vice president of operations-human resources.
Cheryl Vetter is director of casino operations at Sunset Station.
Robert Finch is vice president and general manager of the Fiesta hotel-casino.
Riccardo Ingrassia is director of casino operations at Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas resort-casino.
Maureen Mullarkey rejoined the company as chief financial officer and Michelle Chatigny is vice president, compliance, at International Game Technology.
At the Regent Las Vegas, John James is chief operating officer, J. Barry Mitchell is player development executive and James Greenwood is poker room manager.
Brad McPherson is assistant vice president of human resources for Paris Las Vegas and Bally's Las Vegas hotel-casinos.
Greg Giordano and Gavin Isaacs joined the board of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys.
Thomas Tait is vice president of business development, government and community affairs at Lake Las Vegas Resort.
Kevin Kline is vice president of casino marketing at the Rio.
