Revenue, profit up for Las Vegas casino supplier

Gambling software and game maker Casino Data Systems of Las Vegas, which is being sold to slot machine giant Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. of Australia, said it earned $2.3 million or 12 cents per share in the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31.
After special items are factored out, the profit increased from $1.7 million or 9 cents per share in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue of $21.1 million was up from $17 million.
