CAPS bags another big airline client

Certified Airline Passenger Services (CAPS) of Las Vegas has added United Airlines to its baggage check-in service network.
The agreement with United gives CAPS partnerships with the four busiest air carriers serving McCarran International Airport.
Customers who use the service can check in their baggage on eight contracted airlines at any of 13 Las Vegas locations with Federal Aviation Administration-certified personnel. The cost is $6 and passengers get boarding passes while their bags go directly to McCarran.
CAPS spokesman Jim Gentlemen said the company's service with United is only available at the company's Alamo Rent A Car location, but it will expand to the 12 hotel-casinos that have CAPS counters. The hotel-casinos that are partners with CAPS are the Aladdin, Bally's, Bellagio, Flamingo, Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Hilton, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Paris, Riviera, Sahara and the Stardust.
