Eusebio Alfonso

Eusebio Alfonso, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Cuba. A resident for many years, he was a retired chef.

He is survived by his wife, Flor; and one sister, Modesta Medina of Las Vegas.

Dimitrios Antoniadis Sr.

Dimitrios Antoniadis Sr., 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 23, 1940, in Halkis, Greece. A resident for 20 years, he was an automotive mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Olga; two sons, Dimitrios Antoniadis Jr., and John Antoniadis, and one daughter, Mary Ann Antoniadis, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Lynn Rae Banfield

Lynn Rae Banfield, 52, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 4, 1948, in Ohio. A resident for six months, she was a nurse, a member of Harlequins Community Theatre, Rebecca's and the auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She is survived by one daughter, Michelle L. Robison; her father, Loren Williams; two brothers, Ed Williams and James Williams, and three sisters, Beth Haywood, Lauren Williams and Meredith Grandstaff.

Cleao D. Beatty

Cleao D. Beatty, 88, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 24, 1912, in Wallsburg, Utah. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Jean Larson and Lynda Gay Riddle, both of Henderson; two sons, DeVar Beatty of Woodland Hills, Utah, and W. Lynn Beatty of Las Vegas; two brothers, Hal Davis of Ogden, Utah, and Neil Davis of Centerville, Utah; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Marie Beckman

Marie Beckman, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born March 11, 1906, in Springfield, Ill. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired motel owner/operator.

She is survived by one daughter, Monice Keller of Las Vegas; one sister, Justina Beal of Downey, Calif.; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Joseph C. Benner

Joseph C. Benner, 44, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A stockman in a department store, he was born May 6, 1956, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Services will be in New York. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Leonard C. Cross

Leonard C. Cross, 70, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1931, in Osceola, Ark. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired bartender who worked at the Fremont hotel for 15 years and Caesars Palace for five years, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the Culinary and Bartenders Union and the Cuyama Rifle Club in California.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; one daughter, Pamela Jo Forshee of Fresno, Calif.; two sons, Curtis A. Cross and Mark E. Cross, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Reba J. Robinson of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Hazel Swenson of San Diego; one brother, Daniel Renner of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park.

Tobin C. 'John' D'Errico

Tobin C. "John" D'Errico, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 4, 1935, in Boston. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired hotel waiter and a Korean Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Gia D'Errico of San Diego; one son, Rhone D'Errico, three brothers, and three sisters, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

John Dwight Davis

John Dwight Davis, 64, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Los Angeles. A resident for 55 years, he retired in 1996 after 20 years as a truck drivers' supervisor for a government contractor at the Nevada Test Site, an employee with the Clark County sheriffs office and the district attorney's office under Roy Woofter and was a 1956 graduate of Las Vegas High School.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; two daughters, Cheryl of Payson, Ariz., and Cynthia of Las Vegas; three sons, Steve, Jerry and Brian, and one brother, George Davis, all of Las Vegas; and 17 grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be arranged by Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Robert A. Davis

Robert A. Davis, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 6, 1920, in Virginia, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired sheet metal worker and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Reyna; one son, Robert Davis of Denver; three daughters, Martha Davis, Edith Michel and Ivette Davis, all of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Lani France, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 15, 1916, in Stuberg, Ontario. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired hotel waitress and a member of the Culinary Union.

She is survived by one daughter, Jackie Maranda of Las Vegas; three sisters, Anita Rollens of Granada Hills, Calif., Elsie Bracknies of Las Vegas and Kay Cox of Chicago; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Linda C. Gleason

Linda C. Gleason, 53, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 14, 1947, in Chicago. A resident for six years, she was a retail salesperson for a hardware company.

She is survived by two daughters, Stacy Gleason of Montclair, Calif., and Denise Russell of Mesa, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Kinward Ace Hale

Kinward Ace Hale, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 4, 1930, in Arkansas. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; one daughter, Sandra Vickery of Port Aransas, Texas; one stepson, John Johnson of Las Vegas; and two stepdaughters, Tina Sample and Tammy Wright, both of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Herbert H. Hampy

Herbert H. Hampy, 83, of Las Vegas died Feb. 7 in Tucson Medical Center. He was born Jan. 21, 1918, in Knob Noster, Mo. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired truck driver for a trucking company, World War II Navy veteran and a member of Good Sams Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jane; four daughters, Barbara Christian of Wade, N.C., and Carlin Roks, Holly Gubser and Sherrie Walkemeyer, all of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Jack Horwitz

Jack Horwitz, 88, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 6, 1912, in Chicago. A resident for 12 years, he was the owner/operator of an accounting business and a member of the B'nai B'rith and Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Avis; two sons, Seymour Horwitz and Lester Horwitz, and one brother, Simon Howard, all of Chicago; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

The family suggests donations to the Jewish United Fund.

Ann LaFollette

Ann LaFollette, 82, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. She was born Aug. 22, 1918, in West DePere, Wis. A resident for 37 years, she and her deceased husband were former owners of the Dam Cafe and the Coffee Cup in Boulder City.

She is survived by one daughter, Joann Judson of Boulder City; one son, Gary LaFollette of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Dorothy Mazina of San Rafael, Calif., and Edna Van Laren of Green Bay, Wis.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Irene A. Lanahan, 76, of Las Vegas died Feb. 6 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 22, 1924, in Cleveland. A resident for 48 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Maureen Kellar of Moreno Valley, Calif., Barbara Renslow of San Jose, Calif., and Kathleen Lanahan and Eileen Lanahan, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Douglas Stevens of Pacific Grove, Calif., David Jansen of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Russell Arbaugh of Germany; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Damon Victor Manko, 26, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 15, 1974, in Pittsburgh. A resident for four years, he was a craps dealer for Vacation Village and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa; one daughter, Maria Anne Manko, and his mother, Linda V. Byrnes, both of Las Vegas; his father, Michael Manko Sr., of Pittsburgh; one sister, Kelly Lynn Harris of Lusby, Md.; and one brother, Michael Joseph Schucker of Osaka, Japan.

Anita Kay Milligan

Anita Kay Milligan, 50, of Las Vegas died Feb. 7 in Las Vegas. She was born March 2, 1950, in Forth Worth, Texas. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired revenue officer for the Internal Revenue Service.

She is survived by her husband, William M.; one daughter, Lisa K. VanVorst of Seattle; one son, William M. Milligan Jr., of Kalispell, Mont.; her father, Willis Seeton Jr., and one sister, Phyllis Richardson, both of Fort Worth; one brother, Mike Scott of Bedford, Texas; and one grandchild.

Doris D. Roberts Moore

Doris D. Roberts Moore, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 17, 1926, in Garden City, Mo. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired credit adjuster in the retail industry.

She is survived by three daughters, Doris Lee Hart of Bountiful, Utah, Carol Ann Thompson of Phelan, Calif., and Connie Jean Brisco of Alta Loma, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Gwen Lee Morris of El Dorado Hills, Calif., and Barbara Ann Kitchen of Salem, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Anne Rubio, 67, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 20, 1933, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired owner-operator of Brass is Class and Brass Stop, both in Las Vegas and a member of the Anthem Country Club.

She is survived by her husband, Marino; one daughter, Jerri Carmo of San Francisco; three sons, Michael Carmo of Pleasanton, Calif., Dennis Carmo of Concord, Calif., and Martin Carmo of Reno; one stepdaughter, Candace Rubio of Castro Valley, Calif.; one brother, Martin Behney of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.

Reed S. Siegfried, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born June 20, 1915, in Tremonton, Utah. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired civilian supply manager for a government agency, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Elks.

He is survived by two stepsons, John Stephens of Las Vegas and Thomas Stephens of San Diego; five stepdaughters, Pauline Saens-Romero of Caliente, Linda Hernandez of El Sobrante, Calif., Patti Bishop of Mount Charleston and Clara Ramsay and Susan Bonelli, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Silvano Quigley of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Coy R. Sparks

Coy R. Sparks, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 18, 1910, in Park, Ky. A resident for 21 years, he was a machinist in the construction industry.

He is survived by one son, Billy Sparks of Henderson; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. services Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Melvin Tellis

Melvin Tellis, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 20, 1936, in Monroe, La. A resident for 54 years, he was a hotel porter.

He is survived by his wife, Myrdus; two sons, Antwon D. Tellis and Michael D. Tellis, his mother, Alma Tellis, and one sister, Patricia Williams, all of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Edward Tellis of Monroe and Henry Tellis and Earl Tellis, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. in Church of the Lord Jesus, 1260 W. Bartlett Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Carl John Trulsen

Carl John Trulsen, 48, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born March 18, 1952, in Tokyo, Japan. A resident for 15 years, he was a musician, photographer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his life partner, Janice Matarrese, and one son, Thomas Matarrese, both of Henderson; and one sister, Trudy Mattingly of Florida.

Pedro A. Villagomez

Pedro A. Villagomez, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 12, 1931, in Guam. A resident for one year, he was a painter for the government and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea; three sons, Joseph Villagomez of Texas and Francisco Villagomez and Benny Villagomez, both of Guam; three daughters, Julia Kohper of Guam and Evelyn Villagomez and Joanne Villagomez, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Ruperto Villagomez and Lucas Villagomez, both of Guam; two sisters, Delphina Villagomez of Guam and Julia Cruz of California; and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4519 Simmons St., North Las Vegas. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Melvin Webb

Melvin Webb, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 27, 1926, in Tilton, Ill. A resident for 30 years, he was an electrician in the construction industry, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of IBEW Local 357.

He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Young of Indiana; two sons, David Webb and Melvin Webb, both of California; one brother, Alan Webb of Wells; one sister, Kitty Webb-Leedom of Texas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. services Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Maud E. Young, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 7, 1913, in England. A resident for 15 years, she was a customer service representative in retail sales.

She is survived by one daughter, Valerie Knight of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
