International Game Technology of Reno signed an exclusive distribution pact with New Zealand-based Compudigm International Ltd. to distribute a slot machine analysis software program to U.S. casinos.
The software package, seePOWER, allows casinos to visually analyze the performance of each slot machine by location, game type, denomination and contribution to profitability. It allows "casino owners and managers to fine-tune their operations virtually and 'at a glance' see the gathered data in visual format," IGT said.
The software is currently being used in several Australian casinos. It is currently being installed at the Hard Rock hotel-casino near the Las Vegas Strip in its first U.S. application, IGT said.
