Lenora Brown, 63, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 6, 1937, in Honolulu. A resident for 6 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Reginald; two sons, Trop Taylor of Oregon and Alton Surrett of Hawaii; one brother, Henry Pedro, and two sisters, Flora Pedro and Janie Chambrella, both of Hawaii; and two grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Burial will be in Honolulu. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Sermon Ray Bunch
Sermon Ray Bunch, 78, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Tyler, N.C. A resident for nine years, he was a retired maintenance lead man and a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Vera; two daughters, Judy Bodewitz of Cypress, Calif., and Donna Bunch of Perris, Calif.; two sons, Michael Bunch of Lake Elsinore, Calif., and Jack Bunch of Dededo, Guam; one sister, Lucille Berryman of Gatesville, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services are 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, Henderson. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Dorothy Louise Chivers
Dorothy Louise Chivers, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 5, 1925, in Pocatello, Idaho. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired medical transcriber.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James D.; two sons, James A. Chivers and Craig R. Chivers, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Thelma Parker and Joan Hutchins, both of Pocatello; one brother, Keith Roe of Boulder, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday in Bunker Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
Ernest M. 'Duke' DeGuilio
Ernest M. "Duke" DeGuilio, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 13, 1936, in Chicago. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran and a retired member of Teamsters Local 631.
He is survived by his wife, Thea A.; one daughter, Lenny Hall of Orlando, Fla.; one son, Tony DeGuilio of Las Vegas; one sister, Kathy DeGuilio, and one brother, John DeGuilio, both of Highland, Ind.; and his stepmother, Helen DeGuilio of Germantown, Md.
Graveside services are scheduled 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Kathleen Ann Dozark, 56, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 2, 1944, in Iowa. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Glynis Buhr of Henderson and Lori Krumme of Las Vegas; two sons, Michael Dozark of Marshall Town, Iowa, and Benjamin Dozark of Las Vegas; two sisters, Marlys Rucker of Sheridan, Ill., and Darlene Smith of Shellrock, Iowa; two brothers, Leo Sutton of Minneapolis and Clodus Sutton of Waterloo, Iowa; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Eulilia 'Ukie' Elliott
Eulilia "Ukie" Elliott, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 22, 1914, in Bozeman, Mont. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, James Elliott of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 6 p.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
John R. Fox
John R. Fox, 78, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Colver, Pa. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Carol Sigler of Kent, Wash., and Ruth Schwarz of Palmdale, Calif.; one son, John F. Fox of Azusa, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Gerald Carl Friehauf, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 2, 1939, in Fort Morgan, Colo. A resident for three years, he was the owner of an agriculture business and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1742 in Lancaster, Calif., and the Western Bus Nuts.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today in Stratford Evans Funeral Home in Merced, Calif. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stratford Evans Chapel. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; one son, Gerald Lee Friehauf of Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Peggy Friehauf of Madera, Calif.; one brother, Calvin Friehauf of Groveland, Calif.; one sister, Shirley Gillam of Vallejo, Calif.; sand three grandchildren.
Gunn Alice Girskis
Gunn Alice Girskis, 66, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Oslo, Norway. She was an apartment business owner.
She is survived by three sons, Rick J. Eriksen, Tom M. Girskis and Ronald P. Girskis; two daughters, Linda A. Beloz and Susie R. Escudero; one brother, Erik Burnskow; one sister, Kari Cruz; and six grandchildren.

William Cecil Glass
William Cecil Glass, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 20, 1951, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 21 years, he was a security guard and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Mona Liza Clark of Las Vegas; one son, Kenneth Woods of Las Vegas; one daughter, Carla Matthews; two brothers, Tommy Glass of Antioch, Calif., and Kevin Glass of Gary, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd., North. Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in Harrison-Ross Chapel. Burial will be private.

Dixie Lee Hall, 72, of North Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. Born Oct. 19, 1928, in Collinston, Utah, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, William H. Hall Jr. of North Las Vegas and Steven B. Hall of Batesburg, S.C.; two daughters, Pama Lee Herlong of Monkton, Md., and Deborah Jean Zimmermann of Patchogue, N.Y.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Frederick S. J. Hancock II, 76, of Pahrump died Thursday in Pahrump. He was born March 13, 1924, in Long Beach, Calif. He was an employee in the insurance business, a World War II Air Force veteran and was a member of Demolay, Scottish Rite, past member of R. E. Dolley Lodge of F & A Masons and graduated from SMU.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; one son, Bradley James Hancock of Olympia, Wash.; and one daughter, Brooke B. Hancock of Long Beach.

Jim Hoffman, 66, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born April 4, 1934, in Lewistown, Pa. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired education teacher and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta; one daughter, Lisa Hoffman of Boston; one son, Greg Hoffman of Las Vegas; one sister, Edith Defoe of Wilmington, Del.; and three brothers, Jack Olson of Wadsworth, Ohio, Lin Olson of Alloway, N.J., and Norm Olson of Lewistown.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

J. Baur Johnson
J. Baur Johnson, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 21, 1916, in Los Angeles. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was an electrician and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Terry Repp of Mariposa, Calif., and Heidi Elquist and Connie Graham, both of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

James Z. Kuniyoshi of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 11, in Honolulu. A resident for six years, he was a retired real estate manager.

She is survived by two daughters, Renee Vestal and Tami Mueller, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Rita Muir of Arizona, Yolanda Filipic of Virginia and Maria Cefaratt and Lisa Smith, both of California; and two grandchildren.

Petrona V. Nelson, 78, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Kingston, Jamaica. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired registered nurse and a volunteer for St. Vincent's Mission.
She is survived by one son, Maurice Nelson, and one daughter, Ivy Nelson, both of London; one sister, Marcia Tugwell of Las Vegas; four brothers, George Taylor, Robert Taylor and Sydney Taylor, all of Las Vegas, and Bernard Taylor of Florida; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in Abundant Life Seventh Day Aventist Church, 1720 N. J St. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Charlene Eswonia of Carson City and Lawanda Cushman and Susan Eswonia-Anderson, both of Las Vegas; five sons, Duncan Eswonia, Gerald Eswonia, Blanchard Eswonia, Dale Eswonia and Wendell Eswonia Jr., all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Emily; one daughter, Barbara Niglio of Las Vegas; four sons, Alexander T. Niglio and Pete Niglio, both of Las Vegas, and William Niglio and Steven Niglio, both of New Castle, Pa.; one sister, Mary Niglio of Edinburg, Pa.; two brothers, Peter Niglio of Mount Clemons, Mich., and Joseph Niglio of New Castle; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

William Rennie Petrie, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born March 30, 1928, in Arbroath, Scotland. A resident for eight years, he was a retired machine shop owner/operator and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Allan Petrie of Las Vegas and Rennie Petrie of North Haledon, N.J.; one sister, Dorothy Amico of Little Falls, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann Gail Seligman of Las Vegas and Lynne Meyers of Wychoff, N.J.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

David Martin Prater, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 23, 1935, in St. Louis. A resident for 45 years, he was a custodian at UNLV.
He is survived by his wife, Janie of 42 years; two daughters, Elizabeth Jane Marchello and Deborah Jan Duran, one son, David Floyd Prater, and one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Reynolds, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Betty Lou Ruyle, of Oroville, Calif.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Thursday in Bunker Chapel. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

He is survived by one sister, La Donna Joyce of Norfork; and four brothers, Steven L. Van Sickle of Las Vegas, Everette R. Van Sickle of Tucson, Ariz., and Freddrick E. Van Sickle and Kevin L. Van Sickle, both of Norfolk.

Loren "Larry" Welton, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1927, in Greenwood, Neb. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired construction contractor and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janis Dooley; two brothers, Harlow Welton of Roswel, N.M., and George Welton of Wahoo, Neb.; and one sister, Patty Nemecek of Oak Forest, Ill.
A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Eunice Ellis Wilson
Eunice Ellis Wilson, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 17, 1923, in Lubbock, Texas. She was a retired casino cook.
She is survived by one son, Kenny Ellis of Lubbock; two daughters, Mozella Tew of Lubbock and Barbara West of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Louise Watson of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Billie Parks of Milford, Utah; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services are being handled by Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
