Stay granted for convicted killer

Monday, Feb. 12, 2001 | 11:09 a.m.

A federal judge has granted a stay of execution for a Las Vegas man who had been scheduled to die later this month for killing an elderly couple in 1994.

Antoine Williams claims constitutional errors led to his 1995 conviction in the robbery-slayings of his neighbors William Nail, 74, and Alice Nail, 72.
