Hazelle Bryan
Hazelle Bryan, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born May 6, 1914, in Idaho. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Larry Bryan II.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Sidney Herbert Copeland
Sidney Herbert Copeland, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Baltimore. A resident for several years, he worked in the real estate industry.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Rhea; three sons, Shelley M. Copeland and Dr. Lawrence S. Copeland, both of Las Vegas and Dr. Ira H. Copeland of Baltimore; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Sol Levinson & Bros., Baltimore, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Adat Ari El, 3310 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
James Ernest Hamilton
James Ernest Hamilton, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Harker Heights, Texas. He was born Oct. 19, 1909, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Steven Hamilton of Copperas Cove, Texas; one brother, Browne Hamilton of Kona, Hawaii; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial followed in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Audrey Laura Kelker
Audrey Laura Kelker, 92, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 6, 1908, in Pittsburgh. A resident for seven years, she was a social worker with United Way, taught at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and was a member of Links Inc. of USA.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frank; one son, Dean Kelker of Philadelphia; and one sister, Alma Lindsay of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Joseph A. Kuhner
Joseph A. Kuhner, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 30, 1915, in New York City. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired foreman in the pharmaceutical industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jane G.; two daughters, Marguerite Primiano of Las Vegas and Mary Jane Devaney of Henderson; one son, Joseph R. Kuhner of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Arthur F. Nehls
Arthur F. Nehls, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday. He was born Dec. 22, 1921, in Mason City, Iowa. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired auto body repairman and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen L.; one daughter, Sharon Bergstrom of Santa Cruz, Calif.; one son, Wess Bergstrom of Minneapolis; one brother, Larry Nehls of Mason City; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Central Christian Church, 3415 S. Mojave Road. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Central Christian Church, 3415 S. Mojave Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Eunice Ellis Wilson
Eunice Ellis Wilson, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. A retired casino cook, she was born Sept. 17, 1923, in Lubbock, Texas.
She is survived by one son, Kenny Ellis of Lubbock; two daughters, Mozella Tew of Lubbock and Barbara West of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Louise Watson of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Billie Parks of Milford, Utah; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
