Letter: Speak out against Yucca repository

Robert Bohannon wrote a Jan. 31 letter stating the anti-Yucca side is a losing battle.

The only way he'll be able to be sure he's right is to use activism to fight against having the Yucca Mountain nuclear dump.

Don't give up. Instead join the task force against nuclear waste in Nevada (261-1034). This coalition includes state and local governments, organizations and individual citizens.

The Department of Energy's inspector general is investigating collusion between the DOE and the nuclear industry. Let Congress know that we want to know why good science is being ignored while political lobbying by the nuclear industry is not.

If we keep quiet the Yucca Mountain nuclear dump will be a reality.
