Highlights of 2000 revenue report on Nevada casinos

Major details from Monday's state Gaming Control Board's report on 2000 winnings by Nevada's casinos:
-STATEWIDE: $9.6 billion win in 2000, up 6.4 percent. In December, clubs won $794 million, up 5.8 percent.
-LAS VEGAS STRIP: $4.8 billion 2000 win, up 7 percent. The December win was $428.6 million, up 9.1 percent.
-DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS: $673.8 million 2000 win, up 1 percent. The December win for the downtown clubs was $52.3 million, up 0.8 percent.
-NORTH LAS VEGAS: $236 million 2000 win, up 6.2 percent. The December win was $15.5 million, down 16.6 percent.
-LAUGHLIN: $569 million 2000 win, up 6.9 percent. In December, the casinos took in $40.5 million, up 5 percent.
-BOULDER: $599.6 million 2000 win, up 6.9 percent. In December, the clubs took in $45.6 million, down 9.6 percent.
-RENO: $858.9 million 2000 win, up 6.4 percent. The December win was $68.1 million, up 9.7 percent.
-SPARKS: $167.8 million 2000 win, up 4.2 percent. The December win was $12.9 million, up 2.3 percent.
-NORTH TAHOE: $43.5 million 2000 win, up 3.4 percent. The December win was $3.4 million, up 20.1 percent.
-STATELINE: $352.7 million 2000 win, up 7.5 percent. In December, the win was $28.3 million, up 6.2 percent.
- ELKO COUNTY: $234.7 million 2000 win, up 8.2 percent. In December, the clubs took in $17 million, up 10.9 percent.
- CARSON-GARDNERVILLE-MINDEN: $90 million 2000 win, up 2.2 percent. In December, the win was $6.9 million for a 5.5 percent decrease.
- CHURCHILL: $15.5 million 2000 win, up 5 percent. In December, the win was $1.4 million, up 12.3 percent.
- HUMBOLDT: $17.3 million 2000 win, up 1.5 percent. In December, the win was $1.1 million, down 7 percent.
- WHITE PINE: $5.3 million 2000 win, up 8.4 percent. In December, the win was $347,000, no percentage change.
