Bandits trampled by Slam

The Las Vegas Bandits were soundly defeated by the host New Mexico Slam, 131-96, in IBL action Sunday at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Las Vegas, which has won eight of its last 10.
Las Vegas' J.R. Henderson was the game's high scorer with 31 points and six rebounds.
"We didn't really come to play today," Henderson said. "You could really tell the difference between this game and Friday's game (a 108-102 Bandits win vs New Mexico). For some reason we just came out flat and it just snowballed from there."
The Slam got a season-high 29 points from Kiwane Garris and another 29 from Keith Carter. Andy Panko added 20 points for the Slam.
